There is way to convert a BMP to a GIF, but I don't know how to convert a GIF to BMP.

Can someone enlighten me....

This is just a component for saving a bitmap picture and displaying recognised filetypes right?

Why I ask is that the filetypes of save include GIFin the component, but if you try to save a GIF then an error occurs.

I suspect that one has to use a 3rd party or design a filesave routine conversion from BMP to GIF or am I wrong?
