Delphi Developer Required, Auckland Area

Permanent position and opportunity to become a core team member for this established e-commerce developer. This person will be self-motivated with good communication skills and the ability to work in a small team with tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate for this position will have all or most of the following skills:
- Must have 2 or more years Delphi experience including client-server development.
- Sound SQL skills on a relational database platform such as  SQL Server, Informix, Oracle or Sybase.
- OO development skills with exposure to Analysis and Design using a modeling language such as UML or OMT.
- Java experience would be an advantage, as this position would ideally suit an individual wanting to move to the Java platform over the next 12 months.
- Understanding of HTML and JavaScript

Additional beneficial skills:

- Exposure to component technologies such as Corba, COM and DCOM.
- Development experience on hand held devices
- Understanding of ISAPI and CGI technologies
- Database design and ER modeling

Salary level $60k+ for the right person.
