If you use a session component and set the Private directory, then you can control
where these go.
Personally, I read the "TMP" or "TEMP" environment variables (Using
GetEnvironmentVariable), and assign this to the PrivateDir on the TSession.

Yes we are using cached updates and the directory used for these lock/net
files is the root dirctory on the C drive of each machine. This makes me a
little nervous.
