Tried all those but still the same error.
Yes I have run the server and client on both PC. In both cases they work
correctly locally but not remotely.

Yes, but it took a lot of playing with the settings to
get it going.
Have you registered the server on the Pc running the
Client Software?
Here are the settings off my developent PC. These are
overkill, but it works
:).
Default Settings:
Default Authentication Level - Connect
Default Impersonation Level - Identify
Application Settings:
Access Permissions - Administrators, Everyone,
Interactive, Network, System
( All Allow Access).
Launch Permissions - Administrators, Everyone,
Interactive, Network, System
( All Allow Lauch).
Configuaration Permissions - Administrator,
Administrators,, Creator Owner,
System (Full Control)
EveryOne (Read), Interactive (Special Access).
If you want the Server to interact with the desktop set
Identity to - 'The
Interactive User'.
