If you know the names of the DLL's you can ask for the version information for each
DLL used by the BDE that is relevant to your Application.

I am writing a diagnostic tool that reports information about different elements of
our system and what version is currently installed I am wanting to find out
information about the current version of the borland database engine programmatically.
Currently I have found a couple of keys in the registry which give me the version
number and I can get the date of some of the dlls but I seem to remember that there
are some calls you can make that will return some information.
Does anyone know?
