If you have an old copy of Infomodeler (ver 3.1 or earlier) I highly
recommend you upgrade to Visio enterprise (The cost is $AU199 ).
Infomodeler won't do a close approximation of Interbase without enough
editing to make it a pain - but Visio (Which is the same code base but run
in the Visio interface) does. You can turn off the "NULL" keyword and set
up user defined data types that match what IB wants (Can't do domains
though) which covers most of the bases. Plus Visio does UML.
Use the Generic ODBC Driver and you can even get it to reverse engineer etc
OK.
Email me direct if you want more info ( mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ).

Subject: [DUG]: SQL DDL Parsing & Output
Hi,
I need to read some SQL DDL script output by Infomodeller and reformat it
for input into Interbase SQL DDL?
It can output several variants of SQL DDL (eg Informix,DB2,Sybase,Oracle),
but not Interbase version
Does anybody have anything which does this or seen some component/code that
I can use??
Thanks.
Myles Penlington
