Haha, wasn't BDE at all,

as it turns out when ever I used a date parameter query on paradox tables that
had an inner join, they didn't include the data from which the day was
selected.  For example:  if I selected 13/07/99 and there was data on the 13th,
it wasn't included in the join query on the lines table but when I ran the
query to check for record existence, I was only running that on the header
table, no join with a start and end date parameters.  When it worked yesterday,
I must have selected the 12th and it included the data.  I guess my testing
should be more consistent :-)
