I've written a couple of apps that use Smtp and Pop3 to send and receive
binary attachments to each other. I use the internet components that come
with D4 and they have been working great until earlier this week.

I have been using MIME as the encoding method for the attachments but some
users have started manually sending files using their own email clients
(Messanger and Outlook Express) to my server application instead of using
the software provided. Their files have sometimes been arriving smaller
than when initially sent. Exactly the same thing happens to files sent by
my apps if I switch from using MIME to UUENCODING

So I was wondering if anyone else had done (or knows about) this sort of
thing? and what components they may have used?

Thanks in advance
