Just a comment, based on use of previous versions:

More than one version of delphi can be installed at a time. Dunno if you
can (or would want to) run more than one at a time tho. I know you can
have Delphi 3 and Delphi 4 at the same time, and I had 4 and the beta of
5 both on the same machine - it _should_ work fine.

You can only really have 1 copy of the BDE on at a time, and it should
be the latest and greatest :) Having a test machine with the target BDE
is always a good thing.
