I know it is Friday afternoon and you are ready to go home, but has anyone
got any ideas on this.
I have had an app using dde client running for 2.5 years(the server is
Wonderware dde I/O server for accessing PLC data). Recently I have had to
increase the number of the items that I am getting from a topic. Since I
have attempted this I have run into problems with on machine where the Dde
conversation closes for no apparent reason. I have written a simulation
server for testing and everything works well. The application works on
another PC which was ghosted off the first, so all the Dll's etc are
identical just the setting for the server is slightly different as to which
PLC it monitoring.
