This is really difficult to explain without a visual demostration but this app needs to be onscreen all the time but is sometimes behind other apps. Sort of like having MDIChild interface forms or modal forms except the child windows are other applications.

What exactly are you trying to achieve here.

If your app's main window is hidden then it will not have a taskbar button.

Or the Application.OnActivate event, or WM_ACTIVATE message handler in your form?

Subject: [DUG]: ACTIVATE.

I am going through the messages pas file at the moment. There must be some way I can make an application unable to receive focus unless I pass a message to it and then it comes to life. ???

Anyone have any thoughts as to which messages I should be looking to override?

Or if its possible at all.

Cheers,

Matt.
