The help states that internal errors should be reported to Inprise.
There is no reference to L1086 on the web site which is surprising as it seems to be a
well known error among delphi developers. I found a thread on the DUG archive from mid
last year. Same problem. I can't relate the error to any code though. Sometimes it
appears, sometimes it doesn't even if I've made a very simple change to some long
existing code. Plus it happens on different PC's.

or something similar. Most internal errors are caused by something -
they dont just happen. Might be an idea to look at/around the line of
code that is doing this, maybe do a rebuild rather than a compile, (just
the once), and check borland.com for any info on L1086.
