I have used TITAN, and the problem does not exist using that simple test.
Have you tried that test?

But Titan 2000 for D5 has some bad problems with memo fields.

If you have say 5 bytes in a memo field and read it using
titiandataset.FieldByName('FieldName').ASSTRING it will return 10 bytes, the
last 5 bytes are crap, consisting of #0 and other random rubbish.

I wonder if your query is caching - is there any option to flush/commit
after doing the .Post?

Have you tried swapping the TADOQuery for a standard TQuery & to isolate if
the problem is due to ADO?
