Foodstuffs (South Island) Ltd is the South Island?s largest grocery
organisation. The company?s retail banner groups include Pak?N Save, New
World, Four Square and On the Spot.
Last year the company implemented state-of-the-art systems to provide our
retailers with support for their daily operations. With this foundation in
place, attention is now focused on the development of decision support
systems.
The following three positions within the Retail Systems Development
department are offered:-
Programmer ? New Systems Team
To secure this position the successful applicant will need to exhibit
development competencies in a Windows environment such as Delphi or
VB. The position would suit a graduate, with at least eighteen months
experience, who values the prospect of working alongside experienced
peers using leading edge technologies. Experience with any of:-
Delphi Client Server / MIDAS / Interbase / MS SQL Server would be an
advantage.
Programmer ? Implemented Systems Team
To secure this position the successful applicant will need to exhibit
development competencies in a Windows environment such as Delphi or VB
. The position would suit a recent graduate.
Programmer ? Quality Assurance
We seek to employ an individual to develop and undertake Q.A.
procedures. To secure this position the successful applicant will need
to exhibit a methodical and practical approach to identifying
potential avenues of software deficiencies. We are looking to automate
aspects of the Q.A. process. Some elementary programming experience is
therefore required.
Necessary personal attributes for all three positions include; excellent
communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
