I was amused when I read about VB7 in the Register.
Its probably just a vapourware announcement to slow the tide of VB
'programmers' (I use the term with reluctance), moving to grown up languages
like Java/Delphi etc, but I just about choked on MS telling us that
a) OO is a *good thing* and
b) VB does not have it at the moment.
I have had 'discussions' before with clueless MS drones pushing the official
MS line that VB is OO (aggregation of COM objects!) and that all that other
OO 'stuff' was not really needed anyway. :-(
