ACT provide two extremely well documented Object Interfaces.
The first is ACTOLE.Database which you can use to do pretty much anything
with their database from your app.
The second is ACTOLE.APPOBJECT which is used for controlling the behaviour
of a loaded version of ACT. That is, your program can force ACT to focus the
screen on a particular contact, add an appointment etc....
Like all the common contact databases it seems to have been designed by
bloody amateurs so tight integration hurts your own design. Apart from that,
it is all straight-forward, very well documented and quite robust.

I don't know much about integration with ACT, apart from the fact that they
