It would make sense -if- you wanted to do some work on the code from home
that night, or over the weekend. As for stuffing up others code, they'd
only stop compiling if they checked out your now buggy committed code
(personally I think this is why branches are good).
That being said, due to (*$&(#&$#*( IT staff I can't access out CVS server
remotely yet :(
