I had a personal unit called STRUTILS.PAS (original) and got around to installing
RXLIB finally. Problem RXLIB has a unit called strutils and a project got into trouble.
I rename my unit strutilsp.pas and changed the unit name internally too. BUT it
wont go away!! My main form keeps complaining that there is unit name mismatch
with strutils (If bring it up in editor, it brings up source for strutilsp.pas)
despite it
not having it on the uses list at all. STRUTILS.DCU keeps on reappearing in the
place strutilsp.pas is (a strutilsp.dcu also exists). I deleted all files in project
down
to .pas, .dfm and .dpr and still it keeps coming back. STRUTILS0.pas also keeps
being created in same place as strutilsp.pas (and with same code).
I found registry references to strutils.pas (in closed files key) and deleted those but
they came back!
Argghhh! Somewhere Delphi is keeping a reference but where????
