[DUG]: NT Services---again

Hi all.   Well I have an issue with an NT Service that I thought was related to access rights, but I am thnking now that it might not be.   The issue is this, we have an NT Service that is trying to connect to an Interbase DB. But the problem is, that it wont connect to it.     Anyone have any idea WHY this might be happening ?
