Thanks Colin and Stacey.   Since I wasn't sure just where I should be copying the Registry entries to (to give access to component to other users) I took Colin's suggestion.   It seems to have worked fine, after giving a few messages along the way that suggested that all was not well.  (eg "bin directory could not be added to system path.
