I had a problem like this doing some custom components a year ago. As I
recall I had to choose where I painted (what canvas) as well as setting the
colour to not get this happening.

Hi all
I am working on an app that draws various bits on a canvas including
polygons.I am drawing on a white background, On my own (non NT) system the
polygons are filled with white but on an NT the polygons are filled with
black. Also text background is black. I am not explicitly setting the brush
color - is this the problem ? ANy comments welcome.
