[DUG]: Interbase 6 problem?

I have just downloaded & installed Interbase 6. In IBConsole, I connect to the local server using the standard SYSDBA username/password, and try and create a new database. (The login works fine). I click on "Database/Create Database", enter an alias and file/size. and get the following error:   Error connecting to requested database: "DPB Constant (0) is unknown"   The GDB file is created. What am I missing here?   Dave.
