Worked with a >35GB Interbase on NT, not long after that though
they ran into issues - could have been number of users? - and switched
to Oracle. That was IB 4 or 5(? - Late 98), it's probably better
now. The advantage of IB though has to be that source code with
6. (Woohoo: fork it, make some simple changes (just keep releasing them)
and lock your customer in to a custom format ;-)
Anyway, you would get quite a few years - depending on how fast it
grew, and would probably change OS (2000/Whistler/Linux...)or hardware
(64 bit...) before you Needed to change db.
