That book is old, but it is abit of a bible. Written by Ray Konopka a guru
on such things. You could do alot worse. www.delphizine.com has a run down
on Delphi books this month, that may help.
www.itknowledge.com has this book available for online reading, so you can
try before you buy.

HI all.
I have been asked by my boss to find some or one good book/s for component
development.
We have one here called developing custom delphi components, but its as old
as Delphi3, and in the back f the book, it has adverts for other books such
as DOS for Dummys.....so I am not TOO keen on that book...bit old I
suspect...heheehehe
So if anyone has soome or a good suggestion for a book on writting
components, can you let me know....??
