Yes!
The GPL virus sucks.
It's just another attempt to make the next big monopoly :
- No one ever got fired for buying IBM
- No one ever got fired for buying Microsoft
...
- No one ever got fired for buying GNU
But its an attempt to so by political persuasion.
(You could also say by price, but it's only free ($) because of
other peoples efforts (KDE, Apache, Linux (sorry GNU-Linux), etc.)).
It remains to be seen whether it can be competed with on a
quality vs "geek ranting" basis (go Kylix).
