I have noticed that the registry is a lot more secure in 2000. If you are
using reg entries, make sure the end user or server process has access to
the reg keys (RegEdt32).
Otherwise, all seems fine to me.
Dave.

Subject: [DUG]: Win2000
I've had a request to make sure that we can still operate correctly in a
Win2000 server environment.
I am using straight Delphi 5 to build Web CGI apps (may change these to
isapi at a later date but not necessary in it's current situation)
accessing an Interbase 6 database using the Interbase objects that come
with Delphi 5 (IBQuery etc).
The boss wants to set up the web server using Win2000 instead of NT.
Can anyone predict any problems or little gotchyas in this situation? I am
currently developing these using an NT machine.
