You
could check out the FastNet components tab BUT ... the FastNet components
bundled with D4 and 5 are not at all good.
A
viable alternative is the 'Internet Mail Suite' from Argo software design (http://www.argosoft.com/). It's
shareware and registration is $129
US.
I'm
fairly sure tutorials/examples are included and even if not, there's sure to be
a detailed run-down on all the major operations.
Using
the FastNet components is fraught with difficulty - full stop. IMS is
pretty straightforward.
You
will need the name or IP address and port number of the SMTP (outgoing mail)
server, as well as valid addresses for all recipients.
Following the tutorial should give you a fair idea of
the process involved.
