CodeGen is the hard part of the compiler - AFAIK thats what took most of the
time in Kylix, 'cos they have to handle different methods of relocation and
such. But yes, there once was a Delphi compiler that outputted java byte
code - it just never saw the light of day - it was someone's afterhours
experiement that management/marketing got hold of, AFAIK.
