Hi, is it possible to limit what is shown in the drop-down of a
DBLookupCombo?
In my app I have a query as my lookup source, which when looking at
historical data in my database, may no longer return a matching value (i.e.
the lookup shows only active projects), but if I want to display a record
that has a project thats been set to inactive (i.e. is no longer a valid
lookup (to the component)) it blanks it out.
Is there a way to say "use this as a lookup, but only let me use x,y and z
if I drop-down the combo".
I'm guess I'm wanting some behaviour similiar to a normal combo where you
can type whatever you want in the edit box, but select from a list of
predefineds... is this possible? Or will I have to look at my own lookup
somehow?
