HI all,
We seem to be beset with another attack of messages from people outside the list -
with virus attachments.
This can happen beause we have our lists in an open state - the reason for this is
that it allows list members to post from work and
home.
However it is now a problem that I do not want to have infecting our systems, and have
a temporary workaround.
If anyone want to post to the list from another email address (other than the one
where the email is sent to), or if there are more than
one person psoting to the list from one workplace (one email sent to a group), then
please email me back at [EMAIL PROTECTED],
state your name, main and alternative email addresses, and which lists you subscribe
to.
In about 2-3 days I will set the lists to a 'closed" status, which will stop unwanted
messages from outside the list memberships. Note that
the workaround will not stop unwanted messages from "within" the list membership, so
remember to read our rules in my post a couple
of days ago <g>.
