I am doing the
following:
- Using the Active Directory Services Interface (ADSI) I create a user (lests name the user "fred").
- I then want to give a particular group (lets say "NearlyAdmins") full control of freds Documents and settings path (C:\Documents and Settings\fred).
- The person who is adding the new user is part of NearlyAdmins, and has permission to do stuff to user accounts in a particular Organisational Unit, but does not have any access to other users folders.
- To do this I am using TNTFileSecurity which has a property called LogOnAs which is supposed to log onto the server using the given username and password and do its stuff, but this does not appear to be working correctly.
Has anybody used
TNTFileSecurity before?
Any other
suggestions of how to do this?
