Not that I'm aware of. The main issue would be that the integrated editor
would have to work extra hard to get all the caret, selection and
highlighting code working nicely with a non proportional font. With a
fixed with font you just fetch the character width once at the start and
you can toi simple calculations to know where to draw text and the like.
As an alternative may I suggest using the "Lucida Sans Typewriter" font.
It was only ever distributed with an earily beta of Win95, and for some
reason never seen again, but this is a very clean and elegant fixed width
font that I have used hapilly for years now. You should be able to find it
on the net, or I can mail it to you if you want to give it a try.
