I just had to twist it a bit to adjust it to Delphi's taste:

  iRow := xlSheet.Rows.SpecialCells(xlLastCell,
        xlErrors+xlLogical+xlNumbers+xlTextValues).Row;
  iCol := xlSheet.Rows.SpecialCells(xlLastCell,
        xlErrors+xlLogical+xlNumbers+xlTextValues).Column;

  if GetAlphaColumn(iCol, sCol) then begin //returns alphabetic column name
    xlSheet.Rows.Range_[
        'A'+IntToStr(iRow), sCol+IntToStr(iRow)
        ].Font.Bold := True;
  end;
