Lots of RAM! Several CPU's, only constructive advice I can give you is to
suggest that you go staight to
duplexed drives, Raid 10 (over the usual Raid 5) with the current prices of
drives and the disk IO demands of
all SQL servers this would probably work the best

Unless you want real performance then I'd suggest PostgreSQL on Linux
