We have a Delphi5/ADO software running fine on SQL 7.
ADOExpress has been upgraded to the latest version.
We seem to have problems with running it against SQL2000.
Initially the problem was new Named Instancing feature. Having that in place
connection strings should all be changed.
Once we figured it out, I installed SQL2000 as a default instance, and
things went OK on my NT4 SP6 machine.
One of our technicians then tried to do the same on MS Windows 2000 advanced
Server, and the software does not work.
It throws "Unspeciafied Error" and then RunTime Error.
HAs anyone experienced anything like this ?
