For testing (I and I mean testing 8-) 98 on 2000 I use VMWare to book a 98
session inside 2000. All you need is a fast enough CPU (and lots of RAM) and
its a workable testing platform, plus you can do roll backs on disk
transactions so that you can start from the same place lots of times.
For games I use 2000 as it runs most DirectX and OpenGL games well, and its
a lot more stable than 98 or ME.
