I think it goes like this: you lineopen() lines you're interested in specifying the LINECALLPRIVILEGE_MONITOR option this makes you a "monitor" of the line and you will then get LINE_CALLSTATE messages notifying you of state changes on the line. The LINE_CALLSTATE message passes a LINE_CALL structure that has the HCALL in it. You can pass that handle to lineGetCallStatus or lineGetCallInfo to get interesting stuff about the current call on that line.
