[DUG]: Retreiving file summary information

Hi, after banging my head against the wall for a while now Im sure I have missed the simple solution to this problem.  I want to read the summary information about a selected file.  I have searched MSDN and discovered it may be COM'd from the system using a combination of IPropertySetStorage and IPropertStorage.    The help was mind nummingly MS C++ oriented, does anyone have a simplish function / code sample on how do do this?     Robert Martin Software Engineer Wild Software Ltd
