We have used Win2PDF which installs as a printer. Your App can set a registry value which is the filename of the file to be produced. This is only about $75 US (I think). We would love a VCL component that would internalise this functionality into our product. This would reduce setup and licensing issues (which is why we have yet to implement this feature).
