After all that Stacy, my little change was not going to work...AGH. So I used the Delphi highlighter comp, and changed one of the key words to my key word, and it still didnt work ! GRRR Must be a failing some where. TSyntaxMemo DOES work, BUT its proving VERY difficult to get the Keyword that was just typed in. Both TDCMemo and TSynEdit let you access this info easily...sigh
