I've been playing with the trial for a few days, and found that generally it seems good. The documentation is a bit thin, so when problems come up it can be hard to figure them out without help. There is a peer-support newsgroup that works fairly well, but some more example projects would save a lot of postings. TMS have a bunch of add-ons that are included in the trial, but are licensed and purchased separately.

When you compile your Intraweb app, it can act as a web server too - so you don't need to run a separate web server and keep restarting it everytime you recompile, and you can debug your web app in the Delphi IDE which is nice (every session is a separate copy of the delphi app in its own thread(s)).

The javascript is generated on the fly, so if you look at the page source, then like most things machine-generated it's functional but ugly. Also has limited browser support; Netscape 6/7, IE5/6 and Opera are directly supported, not sure how other browsers would fare.

Oh ok. Hmmm. Have to test 'em out some more.
What were your experince/s with them?

Did they do as you expected?
It seems to me that Dev. Time is going to be quicker, or is this not
quite true?

Thanks, Jeremy

Hi all.
I have been looking at IntraWeb, after seeing it in the Delphi 7
Pres. yesterday.

I notice that its all Java Classes etc.
Has anyone used Intraweb at all?
What I am wondering IS, are there java classes or something that need

to

be put onto the server where the ISAPI.LL or CGI app wil be deployed

on?

Yes I have used it and it's very good.
U don't need to put any java classes on the server. Just the files ur
app uses.

Regards

Sandeep
