MIke's stuff is excellent. I also use his VirtualTreeView. A little bit
of work getting your head around it at first, but WOW!

What disappoints me the most is that they seem to be lagging so far behind
what the JBuilder team have incorporated in the IDE.
* Source versioning (not really source control though). But including
differences checker in the IDE.
* JavaDoc - wish Borland would just buy Doc-o-matic and incorporate that.
* JBuilder IDE starts slow but at least shuts down also immediately.
Delphi 6 and 7 take forever to shutdown and startup. JBuilder 6 starts up
much faster than Delphi 6 or 7 which is disappointing. That is D7 with no
third party components to load either!
* I am yet to try JBuilder 7 but saw a demo and liked the refactoring
capabilities. Haven't heard anything about that in Delphi 7.

I think Borland had to include Kylix 3 as a bit of a carrot to even buying
D7.

All Borland seem to have done is buy 3rd party solutions and incorporate
them. Seems to me that there interests are now lying elsewhere.
