Hi all,
we are using a third party activeX dll in our software. However, some people
have reported an error at the point where the form containing the activeX
object is created. The error code returned is OLE 800a01ad. I looked this up
on msdn and found one or two articles but it seems to be a fairly nebulous
sort of error that is hard to track down (I have eliminated the conditions
that it lists in the article). Most people don't have the problem at all,
but some do (seems to be some WinME users so far). They assure me that they
have all the latest updates for their system. I was wondering if anyone has
experienced this with software you have deployed, and if so, did you find a
solution?
