Well if the dcu is in the lib directory then a number of possibilities spring to mind
:-
1. Is the (DELPHI) pointing to somewhere other than where you think?
2. Are you installing Delphi as the machine administrator and then running it as
someone else so
folder security is affecting it?
3. Case-sensitivity of lib directory or filename if not on a windows disk.
My first pick would be that you have got multiple lib directories and delphi is not
looking at the
one you think it is.
