For some reason Mozilla hates forwarding HTML messages!
I just wanted to say merry xmas to you all and to encourage you to look
out for a flurry of activity in the Delphi/RAD space. Here is a sampling
of what we are looking at:
- Bold training - Bold is becoming a BIG part of the Delphi story
- Mobile seminars - using Delphi to talk to the Compact .NET framework
and C++ Builder to talk to the Symbian phone
- Getting more activity going in the Delphi community. With a new Sales
Engineer in place for south of Palmerston North (Paul Thistoll if you
haven't met him) we are going to be trying to get the meetings going again
- More activity on the delphi.org.nz web pages - I will be working with
Gary to update this and get it more active and informative
- If you are an educational institution remember to get yourself on the
free D7 Architect training! Talk to your local salesperson today!
For those that weren't able to attend the Delphi 7 seminar by Simon
Thornhill and Malcolm Groves please let us do it for you again from the
comfort of your office! We can do it over the web - just contact Alice
Kennedy (salesperson for Palmerston North north) or Olivia Ellis (for
the mainland and south of PN). If there is anything you want to know
about where we are going or what we are doing - as long as you sign an
Non-disclosure agreement we can fill you in!
Remember these xmas specials:
- Delphi Architect for the price of Delphi Enterprise (was 7290 now 6250)
- Delphi 7 Studio Upgrade training special (one day free training in D7
Studio Enterprise for each upgrade purchased) - was 4460 now 3960
- Delphi 7 Enterprise to Delphi 7 Architect for only $1400. Bold is the
Borland way of the future, keep your edge against the C#/VB.NET brigade,
Bold lets you develop faster and better than ever before.
These specials end on Dec 24th. Feel free to pass this email on to
anyone who you feel may be interested - if you are the only Delphi
developer in your group to get the list, please make sure you forward it
around!
Richard
PS And no, I have no idea what the official line is on the MS rumours.
