Note that 15 inch LCD monitors have only a fractionally smaller viewing area than a 17" CRT monitor. 17" CRT's measure to 15.9". So a 15" LCD is quite adequate and quite cheap these days.15 inch LCD monitor is quite small anyway. Just consider as an investment to your health.
