Perhaps check your Win32\system directory for an out-of-date bpl.

Hi,

Ive been using packages for some time to share code, objects etc between
Outlook addin dll's.

Things have going well, that is until yesterday, for some reason when
ever I open one of my packages, I get a message stating that the package
is an older format, fine, so then it updates and tells me that the
update was successful. Now this is where the behaviour is strange, if I
close Delphi and save changes to the package I get access violations. If
I close the package and save changes then close Delphi no violations,
and every time the package is opened it needs to be updated to the new
format again.

Last night I recreated the package from scratch, but the same problems
occur. I also uninstalled Delphi, and all components and then
reinstalled everything, but still the same thing happens, I'm starting
to become quite frustrated with all this, has anyone else had any
problems with D6 and packages. I should also mention I am using all
Update 2 for Delphi and the rtl update for Delphi.
