Hi All.
Am just finishing off some CD-burn stuff for my backup software.
Only to find that the zipfiles are not being recognised by WinXP as follows:
The disk is burnt OK, but when inserting it into CD for reading, it keeps same
filename, unless I replace with a different disk for example:
File1:mydocs-2003-Jul-10.ZIP File2:mydocs-2003-Jul-10.002 replace with another
disk with File3:mydocs-2003-Jul-10.001 but after refresh explorer still shows
mydocs-2003-Jul-10.002 UNLESS File1 (different type) is inserted, refreshed,
removed THEN if File3 is inserted it is recognised. It only happens with numeric
extension, and same filename - a changed numeric is not recognised. O/S WinXP.

It is a real barsteward. Any idea what is going on?? Can anyone try to make a
couple of dummy files and replicate? Appreciate.
Al+
