Hi
I've not put this on OffTopic because I'm not sure that it is!

Recently sent an upgrade of my app. to a client that changed the structure of their
database on the initial startup. All went according to plan.

BUT

They are on a peer to peer network. In the past, one workstation (Win95) has taken
a copy my app's (DBISAM) database from another workstation (Win2K Pro) across
the network using Explorer - no problems.

Now their are several files in the database that will not come across "Cannot copy
<file>. Access denied....." but most of the files copy OK.

The properties of the problem files look identical to the other files.

Here's a thing - if the W2K user copies the database to a temp directory on their
machine, the W95 user CAN copy all the files OK.

What's going on here? and (more interestingly for me) is it something I have done
or failed to do in my app (or is the timing of this problem pure coincidence)?

Yours (in perplexion)

Mark
