I don't know if it can be a problem, but many professional icons actually
have several icons placed in a single resource.
I have icons that are almost 100 kb in size.
It includes icons for different Windows versions and different sizes

Yep, looks like that's it! If I strip the first 22 bytes from the file
then everything works great! :)
I just hope it's the same for all icons...
